POSITION: Senior Manager, Market and Business Operations
LOCATION: Mississauga, Canada
RECRUITMENT SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $144,000*

Reporting to the Sales and Network Operations Director, you will lead national commercial functions – including Sales Planning and Incentives, Distribution and Logistics, Corporate Sales and Pre-Owned, and Network Development – for JLR Canada. You will also drive strategic oversight and data-driven cross-functional alignment with Regional Managers, Brand Management, Marketing & PR, Financial Services, and Finance to enable market agility, retailer success, and a modern luxury experience

- Lead national strategy development and execution across Sales Planning & Incentives, Distribution & Logistics, Corporate Sales & Pre-Owned, and Network Development.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Regional Managers, Brand Management, Marketing & PR, Financial Services, and Finance.
- Lead and oversee functional managers to ensure delivery of commercial objectives, operational excellence and innovation.
- Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making, optimize performance, and improve ease of doing business for retail partners and vendors.
- Support launch readiness, lifecycle planning, and demand generation strategies.
- Champion retailer capability development and adoption of modern luxury standards.
- Represent Canada in global and regional forums to ensure local requirements are integrated and aligned with international strategies and best practices.
- Perform other duties as required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 12-18 years of progressive experience in automotive OEM roles.
- Proven leadership in regional management, sales operations, market strategy, and cross-functional team management.
- Experience collaborating and innovating with Brand Management, Marketing, and Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of retailer networks, sales planning and incentives, and Customer Experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and performance management tools (e.g. ERP, data analytics platforms, dashboards) plus ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (15–20%).
Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)
- Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
