Salary Range : The full pay range for this role is $XX to $XX per hour . The target range for this position is $XX to $XX per hour . We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.

Scope Of Job Internship Duration : October 7, 2025 to December 19, 2025

Responsibilities Responsibilities :

  • Managing transfer of project engagements to Asset Optimization team
  • Attending meetings/webinars/conference/open houses
  • Drafting communication with project stakeholders (PowerPoints, emails)
  • General support of the QC development efforts
  • Maintenance and updating of spatial data, performing quality assurance on data accuracy
  • Managing database of competitors projects
  • Collating data and bills being received by Quebec projects

Goals Of Internship

  • Develop awareness of the development process of large-scale wind energy project in QC (commercial, environmental, permitting, technical aspects).
  • Potential learning opportunities: bidding process, project management, community engagement, policy/regulatory development, market tracking, environmental optimization
  • Learning about the issues that come up, both for and against projects, and how to formulate arguments to the community that maintains support for our projects. Becoming involved in these issues helps to better appreciate and understand the pros and cons of renewable energy siting in communities and how to strategically angle a project to be supported by most community members.
  • Learning the multitude of tasks that go into project development, and how our teams work together, both with internal stakeholders and external consultants to navigate the development project phase.

Qualifications Education/Experience :

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Student
  • Experience (including through educational institutions) in Business, Administration, Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Proficiency in both French and English
  • Familiarity with web mapping technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
