Position: Sales Associate – Luigi & Sons

Reports to: Store Manager

Luigi & Sons is a boutique retail space in Vancouver's Yaletown district that provide freshly cut meats, grab-and-go selections, as well as house-made provisions – an extension of the Elisa Steakhouse family.

The Sales Associate role is the first point of contact our customers have when they come to Luigi & Sons. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, outgoing, organized and have a genuine passion for hospitality and a desire to make a memorable customer service experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

(Other duties may be assigned as required)

• Actively engage with guests, cultivating relationships and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Provide expert and detailed information on our product line
• Assist customers with orders; anticipating their needs, offering suggestions and answering questions
• Handling customer transactions
• Maintain a fully stocked, tidy and clean environment
• Process orders and pick ups
• Close down and set out cash till at the end of the night
• Assist with product packaging and refresh display products

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset
• Completion of Secondary Education
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task and have an eye for detail
• Organized and able to work under pressure in a very busy environment
• Ability to work flexible hours as required (mornings, weekends, nights and/or holidays)
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
