Manage inventory systems, perform audits, and forecast demand to prevent overstock/stockouts. Key responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy, reducing carrying costs, and reporting on financial metrics.
What You will Do:
-**Data Analysis & Forecasting:**Analyze inventory turnover, sales trends, and historical data to forecast future demand and optimize replenishment. -**Inventory Control & Accuracy:**Conduct cycle counts and audits, reconciling physical inventory with system data (ERP/software). -**Cost Management:**Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory to reduce carrying costs and improve cash flow. -**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**Work with procurement, logistics, and sales to align purchasing strategies with operational capacity. -**Reporting:**Prepare and present inventory performance reports, including accuracy rates and valuation, to management.
What You Will Bring:
-**Education:**A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. Or Equivalent work experience -**Software Proficiency:**Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). -**Analytical Skills:**Strong ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and troubleshoot issues. -**Attention to Detail:**Meticulous approach to recording and auditing inventory. -**Communication:**Ability to communicate inventory insights to non-technical staff.
Pay Range:($53 - $54 Per HR).
Location: Ottawa, Canada
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
