As the Senior Business Analyst, Finance Solutions , you will be responsible for enabling process modernization and driving continuous improvement within Finance Operations. You will support the delivery of scalable automation solutions, governance frameworks, and cross-functional process transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the enterprise.

A Day in the Life

  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, simplify, and automate Finance Operations processes.
  • Act as a key contributor within cross-functional modernization squads to deliver tangible improvements in efficiency, productivity, and stakeholder experience.
  • Lead the development of automation solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, ChatGPT, or through collaboration with IT and RPA teams.
  • Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures, and user training materials to support adoption and sustainability of re-engineered processes.
  • Work cross-functionally with aligned Director or VP to communicate results and project planning.
  • Design and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools to communicate operational performance through KPIs, benchmarking, and exception reporting.
  • Manage data pipelines, including accessing raw data feeds, building SQL queries, and preparing structured datasets for analysis and visualization.
  • Support change management activities by developing rollout strategies, engaging stakeholders, and incorporating feedback into ongoing process improvements.
  • Own and maintain financial data processes aligned with Finance Operations to ensure quality and readiness for advanced analytics.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by equipping teams with accurate data and process guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analysis, or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in business process engineering, finance process modernization, management consulting, or data analysis within a finance function.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to link data and insights to business strategy, financial performance, and operational improvement.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SnowSQL, or similar tools, with experience in data visualization, KPI reporting, root cause analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with business intelligence and automation platforms such as Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, Smartsheet, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, and a demonstrated ability to work independently or collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP S4/HANA and OneStream is a plus; experience using ChatGPT or other AI tools to enhance productivity is an asset.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $76,300 - $108,240 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
