About this Position
We are currently looking for a Licensing Analyst to join our Mutual Fund Licensing Department.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle screening Outside Activity (OA) disclosures from licensed agents
- Assist with keying and processing registration renewals
- Process form 4 applications
- Handle inquiries from Regulators related to registrations
- Process OA forms and related changes in the National Registration Database (NRD) system and checking the status of submitted applications
- Responsible for handling inquiries from Regulators related to outside activities
- Process accounting adjustments
- Review incoming emails in the department email box
- Assist with submitting non-renewal exclusions on NRD
- Assist with non-renewal terminations and reporting on NRD
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through related work experience
- Minimum 1 year office experience would be an asset
- Familiarity of database and mainframe systems an asset
- understanding of sense of urgency in terms of dealing with regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting would be an asset
- Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, problem solving & time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Quick learner and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel)
