About this Position

We are currently looking for a Licensing Analyst to join our Mutual Fund Licensing Department.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle screening Outside Activity (OA) disclosures from licensed agents
  • Assist with keying and processing registration renewals
  • Process form 4 applications
  • Handle inquiries from Regulators related to registrations
  • Process OA forms and related changes in the National Registration Database (NRD) system and checking the status of submitted applications
  • Responsible for handling inquiries from Regulators related to outside activities
  • Process accounting adjustments
  • Review incoming emails in the department email box
  • Assist with submitting non-renewal exclusions on NRD
  • Assist with non-renewal terminations and reporting on NRD
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through related work experience
  • Minimum 1 year office experience would be an asset
  • Familiarity of database and mainframe systems an asset
  • understanding of sense of urgency in terms of dealing with regulatory requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounting would be an asset
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving & time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Quick learner and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel)
