Description
This project is part of a global compliance initiative aimed at strengthening the organization’s ability to meet economic sanctions requirements across multiple jurisdictions. The Sanctions Risk Assessment program is designed to evaluate exposure to financial risk by analyzing large datasets, identifying gaps, and producing actionable insights for senior leadership. These insights directly influence strategic decisions and ensure adherence to international regulatory standards.
As a Risk Assessment Reporting Analyst, you will join a specialized team responsible for transforming complex data into clear, concise narratives that inform compliance strategies. Your work will involve interpreting data outputs, rationalizing findings, and drafting reports that communicate risk exposure in a way that is meaningful to executives and regulators. This role requires exceptional analytical and writing skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across multiple business units under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and rationalize data received from various sources to assess relevance and accuracy.
- Develop management reports and executive summaries that translate technical data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and technology teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with regulatory frameworks.
- Support enhancements to risk assessment methodologies and reporting processes.
Must-Haves
- Exceptional writing and analytical skills, particularly in risk assessment and compliance contexts.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders across multiple teams and levels.
- Strong capability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable narratives for senior management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including formulas, XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with global sanctions compliance, financial risk, or regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Tableau for data visualization (dashboard creation, linking tables, unions, and calculation formulas).
- Exposure to risk assessment tools or compliance technology platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional projects with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and self-motivated.
