Best Brains Learning Centre is a nationally recognized after-school enrichment program serving students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 (ages 3 to 14). Our proprietary, non-repetitive curriculum strengthens students’ understanding of Math and English while building critical thinking, confidence, and academic excellence.

Position Overview
We are hiring Part-Time Math and English Instructors to lead our small-group classes. In this role, you will deliver high-quality instruction using our fully structured, easy-to-follow curriculum. No lesson planning is required. We provide all instructional materials, lesson plans, and classroom resources, allowing you to focus entirely on teaching, mentoring, and student engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Lessons: Teach Math and/or English to small groups of students (Kindergarten to Grade 8) using the proprietary Best Brains curriculum. Support Student Growth: Facilitate hands-on activities, tailoring instruction to meet the individual learning paces of your students. Track Performance: Assess student performance, maintain accurate progress records, and collaborate with the Centre Director. Communicate Professionally: Share student progress and milestones with parents and families in a clear, professional manner. Classroom Management: Maintain a structured, positive, organized, and safe learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification is preferred. Teacher Candidates currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education program are strongly encouraged to apply. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related discipline (or a college diploma with relevant instructional experience). Experience: Minimum of one year of teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is preferred. Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills. Professionalism: Reliable, punctual, and highly professional in conduct.
