Bilingual Customer Service Representative (English and French)
Introduction Are you a bilingual customer service professional who enjoys providing exceptional support and ensuring every detail is handled with accuracy? Our client is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their established team in Newmarket, Ontario.
This is an existing full-time, in-office opportunity offering a salary of $50,000 to $55,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits, a pension program, tuition reimbursement, and long-term career stability. What You’ll Do As the central point of contact for customers, distributors, sales representatives, and internal departments, you will help ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will help create a positive customer experience every day.
Responsibilities Process customer orders, quotations, and order changes accurately and efficiently. Review orders for completeness and accuracy before processing. Enter customer and subsidiary orders into internal systems. Process additions, cancellations, and modifications to existing orders. Create Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs). Release subsidiary orders for shipment. Prepare pricing and special quotations. Monitor order status reports and communicate updates to customers and internal teams. Coordinate with Supply Chain and Purchasing to resolve order issues. Schedule and expedite orders as required. Generate weekly sales reports and other reports as needed. Maintain accurate pricing, shipping, and delivery information. Provide administrative support to the sales team. Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Qualifications Fully bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken. Minimum of 3 years of customer service and order entry experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Reliable, dependable, and able to prioritize competing responsibilities.
Benefits Salary of $50,000 to $55,000 annually. Existing full-time vacancy with immediate availability. Monday to Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. In-office position located in Newmarket, Ontario. Two weeks of vacation, increasing to three weeks after five years of service. Comprehensive health benefits after 90 days, including dental, extended health, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program. Company pension program.
