Location: 526 Grays Rd, Hamilton, Ontario L8E2Z4 Canada Job Duties: Order Processing: Receive documents and initiate logging process, confirm data received follows all Canadian and US Custom requirements, process all documents in accordance with requirements, finalize billing and distribute documents as required. Shipment Status reporting: Review daily monitoring reports, ensure all measurements standards are met, and proactively report non-conformance. Research and assess CBSA requirements for USMCA, D/T, GST and other customs entry requirements. Evaluate all new Government agency compliance requirements to ensure import compliance with changes and incorporation into the daily operations and standard operating procedures. Review existing Tariff Classifications for accuracy, and coordinate corrections where vital. Job Requirements: A four-year BS/BA degree is preferred, not required. Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) - Compliance diploma preferred. Prefer at least two (2) years of experience handling import trafficking functions with a freight forwarder/broker. Prefer two (2) to three (3) years of experience in customer service duties. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required. The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is strongly desired..
