About Brucejack
Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.
As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. You’ll stay in private rooms with individual washrooms, enjoy balanced meals prepared by our exceptional culinary team, and have access to a 24-hour snack and sandwich bar. For creative downtime, our music room is a fully equipped space where you can play or listen to music. Our Brucejack Recreation Committee, run by employees on a volunteer basis, organizes activities and events to make camp life fun and bring people together. #####Your Impact
TheSupervisor Constructionis responsible for overseeing the planning, mobilization, and execution of construction activities associated with the BJAR KM 58–63 Project. This role provides daily oversight of contractors and field activities related to RACS installation, new camp construction, laydown adjustments, and associated project scopes. The position ensures work is completed safely, in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements, within approved budgets and schedules, and in alignment with Newmont standards and project objectives.Note: This is a 6-month term position.
#####As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Plan, execute, and complete assigned construction scopes to meet organizational and project objectives.
- Identify project risks, develop corrective actions, and lead risk assessments for planned work.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with contractors, senior management, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Lead and model compliance with safety systems, actively monitoring performance trends and corrective actions.
- Oversee quality of work to ensure compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Monitor workforce efficiency, schedule compliance, and effective utilization of equipment and business partners.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and capture lessons learned.
- Support Superintendents in monitoring and delivering the rolling three-week look-ahead plan.
- Participate in incident response and support investigations as required.
- Review and approve Daily Activity Reports (DARs).
#####Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Previous construction experience required (5 years)
- Previous supervisory experience required (3 years)
- Site knowledge is an asset
- Ability to track construction progress and report to project coordinators
- Organize and communicate project needs to Project superintendents
- Strong communication skills are an asset
- Ability to spend many hours in mountain terrain
- Perform safety verifications on crews in the field

- Onsite meals, gym, recreation, and entertainment facilities
- Travel allowance and transportation arrangements included
- Rotational schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off

The expected salary range for this role is CA$105,800 - 141,100 / year . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
