Located in and around the City of Timmins, Ontario, Porcupine has two underground and one open pit mines. A continuous operation for over 100 years that provides a great work-life balance. Schedule
5x5x4
Purpose** To load and move material underground in a safe and efficient manner, as well as other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate (licensed) underground 6yd scooptram or equivalent.
- Perform proper pre ops on equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by the Frontline Supervisor.
Training and Education
- High School Diploma
- Underground Common Core Certificate
- Able to function in a busy and dynamic work environment.
- Minimum of two (2) – three (3) years mining experience.
- Must be able and willing to acquire rigging training (required for alternate work duties).
- Be a Safety Leader
- Good Safety and attendance record
- Good communication skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
