About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll oversee production teams, ensure efficient operations, and drive high standards in food safety, quality, and performance.

##What You’ll Do
###Production & Operations
- Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets
- Coordinate with Scheduling, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse teams to optimize production flow
- Ensure accurate production reporting (yields, downtime, labor, materials)
- Review and maintain production specifications, line setups, and staffing plans
###Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, coach, and develop production employees
- Assign staff to lines and tasks based on production needs
- Support hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-first team culture
###Food Safety & Quality
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards
- Support audits, documentation, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with QA and R&D on new product trials and process improvements
###Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs
- Support cross-functional initiatives (e.g., cost savings, sustainability, process improvements)
- Participate in inventory processes and operational projects
##What We’re Looking For
###Required
- 4+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze problems and make decisions in a fast-paced setting
- Experience working with diverse teams, including non-native English speakers
###Preferred
- Food manufacturing experience
- HACCP certification (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with production scheduling and cost management
##Work Environment
- Production floor environment with intermittent office time
- Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature changes, and food production conditions including common allergens (e.g., fish, shellfish, nuts, dairy, soy, wheat)
- Standing and walking for extended periods is required
- Flexibility in working hours, including potential shift work
##Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification

- Minimal (0–5%)
