Our Opening and Your Responsibilities We are looking to hire a Field Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industry related products, perform calibrations and preventative maintenance duties, resolve first line customer service issues and accurately complete service reports in the city of Mississauga and surrounding areas, for our Lab division. What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair all Mettler Toledo products within the Business Group
- Perform system and equipment installations, calibrations and preventative maintenance duties as required
- Ensure customer uptime requirements are met and that PM work at assigned accounts are completed on time
- Complete system configuration and testing prior to delivery
- Provide technical solutions consultant and application support to the customer and the sales force
- Responsible for resolving first line customer complaints and invoicing problems
- Ensure vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met
- All other duties as assigned
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 2-year college diploma in Engineering/Electronics/Instrumentation Technology and/or Computer Science and experience in a technical support role, technical troubleshooting or technical installation within the Laboratory division of industrial electronics technology is required.
- The ability to lift, transport and place test weights and equipment of up to 20 Kg (testing of equipment may require movement of up to 300Kg in 20 Kg increments).
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Willing to work overtime
- Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S
