This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of a major new intellectual property within a fully remote, globally distributed game development environment. The Lead Producer will play a key role in transforming creative vision into successful delivery by guiding teams, processes, and production strategies. The position requires a strong background in large-scale game development, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Accountabilities: The Lead Producer will oversee production strategy and execution for a major game project, ensuring teams remain aligned with creative goals, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. The role requires strong leadership, organizational expertise, and the ability to foster collaboration across internal and external teams. Lead internal and external development teams across multiple locations to deliver projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. Support creative leadership in maintaining a consistent vision throughout the full development lifecycle. Collaborate with production teams to establish project budgets, schedules, milestones, and delivery plans. Partner with product leadership to ensure development processes are consistently applied and continuously improved. Mentor producers across different experience levels, supporting their professional growth and career development. Define clear objectives for teams across development milestones and ensure effective execution. Coordinate focus testing, outsourcing initiatives, and relationships with external partners when required. Identify production risks, analyze potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies. Balance creative ambitions with production realities to support informed decision-making. Promote a collaborative, productive, and healthy development culture. Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced game production leader with a proven track record of managing complex projects and building high-performing teams. The role requires extensive experience in game development, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a creative and fast-paced environment. 10+ years of experience in internal game development. Proven experience building and leading teams across multiple locations. Experience delivering AAA game projects. Strong ability to guide teams across both production and creative disciplines. Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to inspire and align teams. Ability to remain calm and effective while managing complex challenges and competing priorities. Experience collaborating with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Resourceful, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment. Strong understanding of production management, planning, scheduling, and delivery processes. Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks.
