At Canucks Sports & Entertainment, we are excited to be in the business of

creating memorable moments for our fans and guests. We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. We can’t wait to meet you!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Hype Team Member is part of our Game Entertainment team. They will work

during Canucks home games, Warriors home games, and other events to promote Canucks Sport and Entertainment and provide fans with a fun, exciting experience. This is a part-time, hourly, seasonal position from September 2026 to August 2027. A typical shift includes:

  • Assisting with in-game entertainment elements, including in-stand promotions and concourse activities
  • Participating in live skits, acting as a crowd plant
  • Interacting with fans, including starting crowd chants, displaying energy and enthusiasm to our fans
  • Providing on-ice assistance with set-up and execution of intermission contests as required
  • Operating t-shirt cannons
  • Other duties as required

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must be available to work weekdays, weeknight, weekends, and holidays with varying start times as required by team schedule and operational demands
  • Must be able to work 30-35 Canucks games, Warriors games or other events per year
  • Solid team player with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills, professional attitude, and appearance
  • Acting skills are an asset - you can attach a demo reel to your application to show us your skills!
  • Knowledge of and a passion for professional hockey is an asset
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit with a minimum of 8 months of validity remaining
