In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy-duty equipment. You will work closely with our operations and maintenance teams to ensure our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty equipment such as drills, bulldozers, generators, and other related machinery.
  • Inspect, test, and repair hydraulic systems, using flow meters and schematics.
  • Diagnose and repair 12–24V electrical systems, including start/charging systems, heating systems, and engine electronics.
  • Perform engine, transmission, cooling, fuel, clutch, and exhaust system repairs.
  • Complete repair reports, equipment logs, and supply outage documentation.
  • Communicate repair needs, delays, and equipment issues promptly

Qualifications:

  • Certified in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) or Truck & Coach Technician (310T) or Automotive (310S)
  • 1-3 years' experience working with and repairing equipment, working with hydraulic systems considers an asset with a flow meter.
  • Common Core considered an asset.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract.
  • Ability to pass a Drug/Alcohol Screen & Fit for Duty test.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision or as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel out of town periodically
  • Knowledge of the mining industry considered an asset

Monday-Friday
8:00am-4:30pm
