In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy-duty equipment. You will work closely with our operations and maintenance teams to ensure our equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty equipment such as drills, bulldozers, generators, and other related machinery.
- Inspect, test, and repair hydraulic systems, using flow meters and schematics.
- Diagnose and repair 12–24V electrical systems, including start/charging systems, heating systems, and engine electronics.
- Perform engine, transmission, cooling, fuel, clutch, and exhaust system repairs.
- Complete repair reports, equipment logs, and supply outage documentation.
- Communicate repair needs, delays, and equipment issues promptly
Qualifications:
- Certified in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) or Truck & Coach Technician (310T) or Automotive (310S)
- 1-3 years' experience working with and repairing equipment, working with hydraulic systems considers an asset with a flow meter.
- Common Core considered an asset.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract.
- Ability to pass a Drug/Alcohol Screen & Fit for Duty test.
- Ability to work with limited supervision or as part of a team.
- Ability to travel out of town periodically
- Knowledge of the mining industry considered an asset

8:00am-4:30pm
