About the role

Our Alberta based client is looking for a Personal Benefits Consultant to join their team in Alberta. A great opportunity for a passionate customer support/inside sales professionals with 3+ years of experience! The ideal candidate will be someone who can understand the needs of prospective clients to align the best possible individual health and dental benefits plan to meet their needs.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

  • Drive increased market share by consistently achieving and exceeding sales results
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with existing and prospective clients
  • Develop customer insights to align appropriate solutions with client needs
  • Build a strong corporate and personal brand through integrity, follow-up, and delivering on customer commitments
  • Execute all required administrative tasks to create and process contracts
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver the ultimate client experience
  • Collaborate and proactively engage with management and peers to meet sales and customer expectations
  • Participate in coaching sessions with management to develop skills and competencies that support KPI achievement
  • Proactively create and execute a personal development plan, approved and supported by management
  • Consistently meet customer commitments and follow-up requirements
  • Partner with management, peers, and supporting stakeholders to fulfill the organization’s vision
  • Act in the best interests of the company, customers, and community by adhering to ethical standards, policies, procedures, accountability measures, and legislation

Your strengths include:

  • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 Years of Sales Experience
  • Formal Sales Training (repeatable sales process and associated competencies)
  • Applicable Industry Licensing (A&S, Life) and preferred CEBS designation
  • Excellent sales competencies, including time management, solution development, closing and negotiations, and communication
