About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Portfolio Associate. This role is for a vacancy in our Mississauga office.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support as an advisor regarding credit performance, potential or emerging risks, and business conformity with risk appetite, credit culture, and policies
  • Review basic or tactical issues, credit policies or procedures, complex credit reports, and findings and insights to recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies to management
  • Receive direction from supervisors, and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of credit function, analytical tools, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal or external customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Relationship Management experience

Job Expectations:

  • Review credit analysis on assigned portfolio to include financial trends, controls and collateral
  • Schedule and coordinate bank deposit review, audits and buyout process
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Make decisions and resolves issues to meet business objectives
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers
