About the role

We are seeking a Client Success Manager – Consumer Goods to join our commercial team. This position will work closely with the Vice President of Sales & Business Development to manage and grow long-term relationships with key clients. We're looking for someone who can build trust, understand customer needs, and proactively offer effective solutions that drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in account management or sales within the Consumer Goods industry , with a strong track record of client engagement, revenue generation, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a high-impact role designed for someone who thrives on relationship-building and results.

This position is based in the Greater Toronto Area , with occasional travel to other regional facilities as required.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and grow key customer accounts, ensuring a strong understanding of client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  2. Identify and pursue account growth opportunities, working closely with the VP of Sales to support upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.
  3. Conduct regular client meetings and internal check-ins to ensure alignment, address issues, and maintain service excellence.
  4. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and KPI reports that offer actionable insights and performance updates.
  5. Monitor customer performance against SLAs and lead the resolution of service issues in collaboration with internal teams.
  6. Maintain accurate customer pricing tools and ensure strategic pricing alignment across accounts.
  7. Use CRM and internal systems to track account health, profitability, and sales activity.
  8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Planning, Finance, etc.) to deliver on client expectations and identify operational efficiencies.
  9. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities within the Consumer Goods segment.
  10. Support the development and execution of customer-focused continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  2. 2–5 years of experience in account management, sales , or customer-facing roles within the Consumer Goods industry .
  3. Demonstrated success in growing accounts, meeting sales targets , and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  4. Familiarity with Canadian mass retail channels and distributor/retailer dynamics.
  5. Strong working knowledge of CRM tools, customer reporting, and pricing systems.

  2. Results-driven, with a proven ability to achieve sales goals while maintaining high-quality service standards.
  3. Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  4. Highly proficient in data analysis and reporting (advanced Excel required).
  5. Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  6. Solid understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and service operations within the Consumer Goods sector.
