Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist Reports to: Director, Human Resources
Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent across the Company. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in supporting Agrocrop’s growth by delivering high-quality hires in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, salaried, technical, and leadership positions. Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, workforce planning needs, and hiring priorities. Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, educational institutions, and industry associations. Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
Candidate Management Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational values. Coordinate interviews and assessments with hiring managers. Conduct reference checks and support offer preparation and negotiations. Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Recruitment Operations Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment legislation and company policies. Maintain accurate candidate records. Manages professional references and criminal background checks process. Track recruitment metrics and provide reporting on hiring activity, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and recruitment costs. Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Employer Branding Promote the Company as an employer of choice through recruitment marketing initiatives. Support participation in job fairs, community events, and educational partnerships. Develop and maintain recruitment content for social media and career platforms.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume manufacturing, food production, supply chain, or industrial environments. Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried positions. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices. Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment reporting.
Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Relationship-building and stakeholder management. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Results-oriented with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. Proactive and resourceful problem solver.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Time-to-fill positions. Quality of hire and retention rates. Hiring manager satisfaction. Candidate experience ratings. Recruitment cost per hire. Offer acceptance rate.
