At Marvell’s Data Center Group (DCG), we develop and design the processors that move, process and secure the world's data. We are looking to add talented people to our design, verification, and customer support teams - working on all facets of designs for our leading SOC’s targeting AI infrastructure, 5G infrastructure, data center, borderless enterprise, and automotive applications. As a member of the Ethernet Security Team, you will be directly involved in the design and/or verification of world-leading high-performance Ethernet and data path cryptography solutions for major customers. You will be working alongside experienced engineers and interacting with architects, design, verification, and physical design engineers towards common team milestones and supporting current and future customers. As part of the Infrastructure Processor unit at Marvell, you will verify all of the circuitry that goes inside our chips for the general market and for specific customers. These chips use cutting-edge technology to facilitate data transfers at high speeds, and you will help verify that each design meets our customers’ specifications.
What You Can Expect
.
- Collaborate with Marvell engineers on the verification of IP, subsystems, or SoCs, ensuring functional correctness and quality.
- Interact with internal and external customers, providing front-line verification support and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop clear and comprehensive verification plans, test strategies, and documentation for design blocks or subsystems.
- Create and maintain UVM-based verification environments, including writing testbenches, sequences, and reusable components.
- Implement functional coverage models and ensure coverage closure for blocks and subsystems.
- Debug complex design and verification issues using industry best practices and advanced tools.
- Assist with assertion-based verification, code coverage analysis, and regression management.
- Write and maintain automation scripts to streamline verification workflows and regression monitoring.
- Monitor regressions, triage failures, and drive resolution in collaboration with design and verification teams.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, physical design, and software/firmware engineers, to ensure seamless integration and verification.
- Maintain a strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Mentoring and guiding junior verification engineers.
What We're Looking For
.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Electrical Engineering or related fields, and 5+ years of related professional experience.
- Knowledge of semiconductor ASIC design methodologies and flows
- Strong knowledge of Verilog/System Verilog/UVM
- Strong programming skills including object-oriented programming
- Experience with functional coverage, assertions, and constrained-random verification.
- Working experience with digital logic and computer architecture
- Knowledge of Ethernet and datapath cryptographic algorithms is an asset
- Demonstrates good analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Willing to work in ASIC design/verification or customer support roles.
- BS/MS degree in EE/CE or related technical field(s) is required
