Position Overview: We are seeking an organized and self-motivated Freight Forwarding Agent to join our operations team in St. John's. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the cargo movement process—from initial planning and documentation to the final stages of delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end movement of cargo, ensuring all operational processes are executed efficiently.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including customs paperwork, invoices, and shipping manifests.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring any issues are promptly addressed.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and shipments.
• Handle time-sensitive tasks while adapting to changing priorities.
• Work closely with internal teams to optimize the supply chain and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration, office administration, or supply chain/logistics is an asset.
• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management is an asset but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Independent thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient with office software and basic logistics tools.
