The Role
We are seeking a Lead Application Analyst to coordinate and supervise the daily activities of our application technical team. Acting as a ‘player-coach’, you will balance hands-on application analysis and problem-solving with the coordination of your team’s daily workflow.
You will serve as the hands-on expert in your team’s specific technology domain, using your deep, practical understanding of principles and best practices to personally guide the team’s most complex technical decisions. You will operate within a project plan set by your manager to ensure the successful tactical delivery of specific application features, components, or sprints.
This role requires you to role model technical excellence and application ownership, relying on your technical credibility to influence the daily operations of a single project or product.
What You’ll Do
- Operational Coordination: Accountable for coordinating the team's technical execution, ensuring quality, and resolving daily technical blockers.
- Task Management: Set priorities for the technical team to ensure task completion, managing the team's day-to-day workflow and task allocation.
- Delivery: Solve immediate technical hurdles within a project and facilitate necessary design decisions to keep the team moving forward. Operational Coordination: Accountable for coordinating the team's technical execution, ensuring quality, and resolving daily technical blockers.
- Task Management: Set priorities for the technical team to ensure task completion, managing the team's day-to-day workflow and task allocation.
- Delivery: Solve immediate technical hurdles within a project and facilitate necessary design decisions to keep the team moving forward.
- Hands-On Expertise: Serve as the hands-on expert in the team's specific application domain, demonstrating a deep, practical understanding of the theory and best practices.
- Technical Review: Personally guide the team’s most complex technical decisions and review critical application code, scripts, or system designs.
- Mentorship: Connect team members to facilitate technical discussions, actively enabling peers by sharing your expertise, mentoring others, and helping unblock their tasks.
- Project Influence: Influence the technical approach and daily operations for a single project or product.
- Process Establishment: Impact how the work gets done by establishing engineering and analysis practices, ensuring the team adheres to its operational commitments.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications in Systems Analysis, or specific application platforms (e.g., GCP).
- 5 + years of experience in application analysis, systems analysis, or technical support.
- Proven experience operating as a hands-on expert in a specific technology domain.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and supervising the daily activities of a technical team.
- Deep practical understanding of requirements gathering, system architecture, and application troubleshooting.

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. The salary range indicated includes a Short Term Incentive Plan (“STIP”) which represents a percentage of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The STIP payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The STIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the STIP’s eligibility requirements.
