We’re looking for a Certified Millwright
to join our Athabasca Oriented Strand Board (OSB) division , located in Slave Lake, Alberta. This state-of-the-art facility
has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to manufacture a broad range of innovative forest products
for customers around the world .
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Experience working as a Millwright with a valid Interprovincial Ticket .
-
Experience troubleshooting hydraulic
systems .
-
Ability to read blueprints, plans and schematics .
-
Strong problem-solving
skills .
-
Commitment to working safely .
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
-
Ability to work independently
with little supervision.
-
Good organizational and planning skills .
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
-
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
(CMMS) - preferably JD Edwards.
-
Previous experience in a forest products environment is considered an asset.

In this role you will:
-
Work with a high-performance team
dedicated to maintaining all mill machinery
including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings and hydraulic systems
involved in the manufacturing process.
-
Keep our systems running smoothly by performing preventative and predictive maintenance . This includes inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.

Find safe, creative ways to boost equipment reliability and streamline our processes.
-
Apply your knowledge, skills and experience to troubleshoot issues and come up with safe, reliable fixes to keep the mill running.

Share your knowledge
with the next generation of maintenance rockstars - our Apprentices.
