About the Role
HealthOne is seeking experienced an Medical Office Administrator to join our expanding team. If you have a strong background in walk-in and family medicine, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about delivering compassionate patient care, we want to hear from you.
In this vital role, you will support the seamless daily operations of our medical practice, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all patients visiting both our walk-in and family medicine departments. Your key responsibilities will include assisting the clinical team with a range of administrative tasks while consistently providing exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and attentive service to patients, ensuring they feel valued, heard, and consistently receive a five-star experience.
- Manage front desk operations with exceptional attention to detail, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, billing, payment processing, and accurate data entry.
- Support efficient clinic operations by adhering to policies and procedures, offering dependable administrative assistance, and contributing to the achievement of business goals.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the patient experience and assist management in optimizing clinic performance and growth.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical Office Administration or Reception.
- Excellent client service skills with strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong work ethic, organizational ability, and capacity to manage competing priorities efficiently.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities to support growth.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experienced with CRM/EMR systems, specifically PS Suite software.
Assets
- Post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration or a related field.
- Certification and experience in intramuscular (IM) injections.
