Role : Property Management Associate
Duration: Contract – 6+ Months Location: Calgary, AB
Overview
Seeking an experienced Property Management Associate to support the day-to-day operations of a large commercial property. This role involves tenant relations, building operations, contract management, budgeting, team supervision, and ensuring high standards of property maintenance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage tenant inquiries and coordinate resolutions with internal teams and contractors. Supervise building services staff and support performance management and training. Oversee building operations, maintenance, and vendor/contractor performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Coordinate tenant move-ins/move-outs and maintain tenant communications. Assist with budgeting, operating costs, contract administration, and financial reporting. Monitor accounts receivable, lease administration, and property documentation. Prepare monthly operational reports and support property management initiatives. Maintain accurate property records and management systems.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial property management. Minimum 3 years of management and direct staff supervision experience. Strong experience in tenant relations, vendor management, budgeting, and building operations. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi) is an asset.
Preferred
University degree (preferred). Working toward or holding RPA, FMA, CPM, or Property Management licensing is an asset.
