YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Underground Mine Operations Department. You will be responsible for:

Completed & ongoing competence with required core modules: Staging, Drilling, Rock bolting, Blasting, Operate Scoop, extend services, Operate Utility Vehicle, Fall Arrest Training (per the AEM Underground Mining Classification Guideline);
-
Competently perform all Mining 4 functions (Production/Development);
-
Demonstrate competence in relevant UG Hardrock common core;
-
Housekeeping – keep work areas clean free from hazards;
-
Communication – listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on zero harm 5-point card, aligning with daily tasks;
-
Teamwork – work with others to meet and where possible exceed daily KPI’s set by Supervisor;
-
All other duties as may be assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Miner 4 or equivalent;
-
Physically Fit, self-starter with a can-do attitude;
-
Tolerance for hot, cold and humid environments;
-
UG Comon Core (Ontario).

- Schedule: 14/14 at our Detour Lake Mine Site.
Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
