We currently have an opportunity for a Microsoft 365 & Azure Platform Specialist to join our Information Technology team! The Microsoft 365 & Azure Platform Specialist manages and continuously improves Steinbach Credit Union’s Microsoft cloud platforms, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Azure. The role owns SharePoint-based solutions and workflows end to end, with a focus on secure configuration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
###Specific Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support SharePoint Online solutions using native features (lists, libraries, metadata, permissions) and Power Automate workflows.

Build and maintain business workflows (approvals, intake, routing, notifications, lifecycle processes) to replace manual or legacy processes.

Translate business requirements into secure, scalable SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.

Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

Implement and maintain site structures, information architecture, permissions, and governance standards.

Support Microsoft 365 and SharePoint migrations from legacy or on‑premises platforms.

Administer Azure services and identity solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and role‑based access controls.

Apply security, privacy, and compliance controls in alignment with financial institution and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain automation using Power Platform, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or PowerShell to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Collaborate with IT, security, compliance, and business teams to deliver platform improvements, documentation, and operational support.
###Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience supporting or administering Microsoft 365 and/or Microsoft Azure environments
- Experience with PowerShell or automation scripting
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, and/or Security)
- Experience working in regulated or security‑conscious environments (financial services considered an asset)
- Demonstrated ability to implement technical solutions based on defined requirements, standards, and architectural direction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow technical guidance
- Sound judgment in balancing usability, security, and operational requirements
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on reliability, consistency, and quality
- Experience in financial services, credit unions, or banking environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, including DLP, retention, and eDiscovery
