Job Description:
The Glass Technician is responsible for installing and repairing auto glass in-shop or mobile basis. The Glass Technician works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
- Installs auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis
- Utilizes the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service
- Ensures required paperwork is completed and turned in to the appropriate person or location
- Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
- Load glass in the van
- Immediately follow up with the General Manager on any problems that arise in the installation of the glass.
- Seek learning opportunities ensuring all work meets high quality standards, maintaining a low return rate and supporting operational excellence.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Automotive Repair Program
- Minimum 3 years of Auto Glass Technician experience
- Red Seal certification
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification) is an asset
Other RequirementsTravel, physical requirements, etc.
- Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.
- You have your own tools
- Valid driver’s license required

Compensation Details
Compensation:
$20 - $25 per hour
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
