About the role
CGI Canadian Alliance Management team supports CGI's global alliances: AWS, Google, Microsoft, ServiceNow and NetApp. Do you like to solve problems, engage partner experts, help teams obtain funding to offset project work? We are looking for an AWS Alliance Operations Specialist to ensure the day-to-day operations that leverage our AWS Alliance are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
The AWS Alliance Operations Specialist requires the CGI Partner to maintain a close working relationship with the Canada AWS Alliance Lead to provide scale and support to the areas of business planning and execution, skills development, marketing, pipeline (demand gen and reporting), and overall adoption of aligned solutions. The AWS Alliance Operations Specialist will also establish their own relationships with appropriate experts from the global alliance team and across Business Units to successfully deliver on their responsibilities.
Your future duties and responsibilities
As an AWS Alliance Operations Specialist, you will be working on various initiatives across business units. This role requires communication and interaction with multiple internal and external teams to ensure activities are progressing. Educating CGI Partners about current funding mechanisms, tracking status in CRM and AWS Partner Portal and supporting marketing activities is key.
The responsibilities for AWS Alliance Operations Specialist include:

Deal Registration

Respond to every Partner Registration

As directed by the SBU Alliance Lead, register the deal in the AWS ACE partner portal (and update CRM with the deal registration ID.)

Regularly update partner portal to update deal statuses per CRM records.

Go To Market (GTM) Programs and Initiatives
-
For GTM programs, track commitment plan and bi-weekly reporting
-
Coordinate the effort between Global Alliance Manager (GAM), Canadian Alliance Lead, Business Unit Service Owners and Marketing to publish CGI Marketplace listings, including advising teams on Marketplace publishing process
-
Understand CGI's invoicing process to be able to advise teams how to prepare for invoicing (set up project, generate invoice with global alliance as customer, use external billable project code, etc.)

Assist Service Owners with the on-boarding of offering to AWS alliance partner marketplace.

For partner-led AWS sprints/programs
o Nominate customers as directed by Canada Alliance Lead
o Invoice AWS by gathering required documentation from CGI teams
- For field-led funding
o Submit invoices per global alliance procedures upon milestone completions

Notify Canada Alliance Lead of any inbound referrals that come in via partner portals

Maintain updated documentation of GTM operational best practices

Financial Management

Support Credits applied to CGI managed AWS Account

Regularly update and track payments to reconcile against purchase order's, approved offers, incentives, and campaigns

Facilitate incentives management
-
Tracking the availability, attribution and expiry of various benefits on the AWS Partner Central portal.

Reporting

Support SBU Alliance Lead’s needs with monthly reporting for global council meetings

Maintain and update key metrics reports for GTOXperience

Maintain and update global alliance payment as required

Work closely with the AWS Alliance Lead to develop, optimize and maintain key reports on certifications, pipeline, incentives and ad hoc requests.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Essential Qualifications

5 years of Project Management capabilities (manage diverse activities at the same time)

Excellent communication skills in English, speaking and writing, French is an asset

An ability to learn new tools and update pipeline with attention to detail

Strong Office Suite Skills

Results-oriented with a consistent track record for successful delivery

Must be team oriented comfortable working in a highly decentralized organization.
