Security Operations Center Embedded Manager

Salary: $58,000 Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday between 11PM-7AM (overnights)
Job Requirements
Leadership
Leading a team of 2 supervisors and 6 employees
Provide feedback and guidance on a daily basis Operating procedure ownership and accountability
Scheduling
Successfully stadding shifts ensuring properly trained resources are utilized
Ensuring scheduling structure is properly maintained Ensuring guard deployments are successfully completed Ensure all dispatches are appropriately actioned Driving overall performance and ensuring SLA's are met
Training and Recruiting
Ensures properly graded and trained staffing levels are maintained
Provide feedback and coaching on a daily basis on quality, and productivity Refresher training, monitoring of site specific metrics for threshold compliance
Incident Management and Escalation
Engagement on all afterhours incidents
Providing support and guidance as necessary
Performance Management
Coach/counsel and appropriate disciplinary actions when/where required
Compliance measurement, including tracking Random sample audits followed by tracking to ensure compliance
Open Dialogue and Communication
Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders as necessary
Escalate challenges or complaints that are identified by the team members Provide feedback and suggestions to drive a continous improvement culture
Qualifications
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Must have 2-3 years of previous management or supervisory experience Familiar with alarm systems, public relation, and leadership skills Knowledge of CCTV systems and computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) is also required Must be self-motivated and initiated learner, reasonable knowledgeable Extensive client awareness, security intensive, action oriented, able to assimilate data, juggle priorities, make quick decisions, able to take direction from more than one person, patient, good overall deportment, strong leadership skills and foster a strong team in a positive work environment
