About the role
Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. Killam's strategy to drive value and profitability focuses on three priorities: (1) increase earnings from the existing portfolio; (2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets.
We currently have an opportunity available for a customer focused, energetic Live-in Resident Manager at 1111 Main Street in Moncton, NB. This is a part-time role with partial rent benefit as compensation, requires some cleaning and on call duties for evenings/weekends. This role will be perfect for someone who has a full/part time job during the day or someone who is retired and would like to stay active.
What you will do:
- Cleaning of all public areas, and shared on-call duties;
- Daily office cleaning;
- Tenant relations, inquires and rental calls;
- On call duties on evenings and weekends;
- Weekly garden maintenance during summer months;
- Snow removal, clearing entrances, salting during winter months ;
- Building and maintaining positive professional tenant relationships.
Who you are:
- Previous experience in a customer service role;
- Good communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to work well in a team environment with limited supervision;
- Previous experience within residential property management industry is an asset.
