About the role
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Grounds & Moving Services, this job is responsible for grounds maintenance and other related activities
Qualifications:
The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
- Entry level skills in maintenance and repair procedures including preventive maintenance, breakdown repair and trouble-shooting
- Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job function.
- Ability to read and interpret documents related to job function
- Ability to effectively work individually and as part of a team
- Ability to follow through and carry out assignments
- Knowledge of FMP policies and procedures
- Ability to read and write English
Education and Experience:
The above is normally acquired through the completion of:
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent. Required to have a valid Ontario Class G driver’s License or Quebec equivalent
- The job requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
