Job Description

What is the opportunity?

RBC ClearTM is a green-field cash management division within RBC. The RBC ClearTM ecosystem includes a Salesforce platform that is used by both front- office personas (Sales, Account Managers) and back-office personas (Operations/Client Services, Implementation Managers).

This role will manage a cross-functional, geographically-disparate engineering team, that utilizes agile practices to deliver a high-quality platform with frequent releases. The role requires experience partnering with various business and operations teams to elicit requirements to build & maintain a best-in-class Salesforce ecosystem.

The role requires a thorough understanding of a Salesforce FSC-enabled ecosystem, with experience supporting sales & operations teams in financial services (preferably corporate banking). It also requires experience communicating with non-Salesforce platforms (Azure and on-premise) using APIs, events and Salesforce-specific tooling.


What will you do?

· Lead the delivery of large-scale, complex application development projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and business strategies focused on technology innovation. Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery, while ensuring projects meet business requirements and timelines.

· Contributing to the company's overall Salesforce strategy, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement, and staying up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies.

· Collaborate with business, operational partners and vendors to build a best-in-class Salesforce platform.

· Providing guidance on technical design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, including customization, integration, and security - ensuring high standards and quality of technical work.

· Provide direction, motivation, and development for management teams and key staff, ensuring high performance.

· Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of Salesforce applications.


Must-have:

· 8+ years of delivery experience on the Salesforce platform – Must have Financial Salesforce Cloud experience, prefer certification

· Experience facing off with business line executives to collaborate on vision & report on progress.

· Experience managing a development team (with onshore & offshore resources).

· Hands-on coding experience with LWC, Apex.

· Experience with Agile @ scale with Salesforce-specific DevOps tooling (Flosum preferred).

· Domain knowledge in banking (experience with Corporate Banking or Transaction Banking preferred).

· Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and find creative solutions.

· Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Technology Experience/ Nice to have:

· Salesforce Certifications:

· Administrator / Advanced Administrator

· Service Cloud Consultant / Sales Cloud Consultant

· Platform Developer I

· Application Architect (Solution Architect and/or System Architect)

· Financial Services Cloud (AP Certificate)

· Experience with CRMD, Tableau, CPQ, Agent Force, Experience Cloud, Mulesoft

· Experience with public cloud architectures (Azure/AWS)

· Experience with modern microservices-based architectures
