About Island Park Therapy & the opportunity
Island Park Therapy is an MSW-led private therapy practice in downtown Brockville, offering child therapy, play therapy, individual therapy, couples counselling, parent support and family therapy in person and virtually across Ontario.
We are seeking a thoughtful, experienced Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker who values strong relationships, professional autonomy and meaningful clinical work. This part-time independent contractor opportunity is suited to a clinician with at least two years of experience supporting children and families, couples and relationships, or ideally both.
Caseload development will reflect the clinician’s experience, availability and areas of practice. Applicants must be available to work in person from our Brockville office one to two consistent days per week. Virtual therapy may form part of the caseload, but this is not a remote-only position.

A professionally designed and fully furnished therapy space Practice marketing and an established online presence Incoming consultation requests and referrals Administrative and scheduling support Online booking, payment processing and practice-management systems Professional photography and clinician-profile development A collaborative team without excessive meetings or corporate oversight
Compensation
This position operates on a 60% clinician and 40% practice split. Clinician compensation ranges from $90 to $126 per completed session, based on session rates of $150 to $210 and the clinician’s experience and service mix.
Qualifications
Registered Social Worker in good standing with the OCSWSSW, or Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the CRPO Minimum two years of clinical experience Experience providing therapy to children, families, couples or individuals experiencing relationship concerns Professional liability insurance Strong clinical judgment, documentation and communication skills Ability to work in person from our Brockville office at least one consistent day per week Experience in couples therapy, family systems, child and adolescent therapy, parent support or trauma-informed care is considered a strong asset.
