Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the food industry, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook various food items according to recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all meals are prepared in a safe and hygienic manner. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
