Material: 4130 Chromoly Steel Finish: These Chrome Moly Weldable Uniball Cups come bare metal (plain finish) and ready to weld. Comment: For the best safety results, make sure any welding is done by a certified welder, and that the mating components are of the same or comparable material. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING BARE METAL PARTS: This item is shipped as raw, bare metal. It is highly susceptible to moisture and will likely develop minor surface rust during transit. This is entirely normal and does not effect the structural integrity of the part. You will need to clean, prep and coat (paint, powder coat, or oil) this part immediately upon arrival to prevent further corrosion. These Uniball Cups are sized to fit our spherical plain bearing family of parts, as well as our SR series of retaining rings.
