RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Supervisor and Lead Hand to ensure that daily productivity targets are met in a timely and safe manner.
  • Completes a variety of tasks within a department (may be Press Shop, Assembly Lines, Paint Line or Shipping)
  • Demonstrate positive and safe workplace behavior at all time and work as a team in the achievement of daily production targets.
  • Develop understanding on of variety of lockers parts and specification
  • Picking material, by maintaining quantity accuracy
  • Must be able to complete orders in a fast-paced physical environment
  • Operate sit down counterbalance forklift
  • Wraps/crates completed orders, loads/unloads trucks
  • Focuses on learning tasks and ensuring quality
  • Updates shipping information in JDE/ Hubble when required
  • Agree to work in an environment where health and safety are essential and a priority;
  • Comply with company’s EHS guidelines and ensure all required PPE are used while working on the shop floor
  • Contributes to the overall functioning of the team by maintaining awareness of best practices/emerging issues, both internally and externally, sharing best practices and building effective working relationships across the team and company.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

  • Good communication skills
  • Follows direction and a bility to work with minimal supervision
  • Mechanically inclined and able to operate counter balance forklift
  • Ability and desire to learn

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years or more increasing responsibility
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Able to follow Standard Work Instruction for all tasks expected to perform
  • Must be flexible to work extra hours during weekdays and weekends
  • Demonstrates some leadership skills through informal coaching and teaching others
  • Ability, willing, and motivated to lead and mentor co-workers in the future
