Bilingual Automobile Claims Adjuster (French & English Required) - Remote (with the rare in office requirement)

Our client is seeking an experienced Bilingual Automobile Claims Adjuster to join its expanding national claims team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage claims from start to finish while delivering exceptional service to policyholders and business partners. Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility.

Work Arrangement: Remote-first position with occasional in-person meetings or training for employees located near regional offices.

Vacancy Status: This is an existing vacancy with immediate availability.

What You'll Do As a valued member of the claims team, you will manage automobile claims throughout the entire claims lifecycle. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims while providing an outstanding customer experience and working alongside experienced technical specialists and leaders.

Responsibilities Manage a full caseload of automobile claims from first notice through final settlement. Investigate coverage, liability, and damages. Gather information from insureds, witnesses, police, and third parties. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate fair claim settlements. Identify subrogation opportunities. Maintain accurate reserves and complete electronic claim files. Issue payments to policyholders and vendors. Prepare coverage and claim correspondence. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards. Participate in coaching, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with technical specialists and leadership to achieve outstanding customer outcomes.

Qualifications Fully bilingual in French and English, both written and verbal. Minimum of 2 years of experience handling automobile claims from start to finish. Strong Preference for completed CIP (or someone enrolled) - otherwise, will have to complete courses (paid by company) Experience managing a full-cycle claims caseload in a structured environment. Strong understanding of automobile insurance policies and claims handling. Chartered Insurance Professional designation, or willingness to begin the designation upon hire. Provincial Adjuster's Licence, or ability to obtain one. Excellent communication, customer service, organization, and time management skills. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
