About the role

The Master Data Management Coordinator role is responsible for taking care of daily operational aspects of Master Data Management. This includes execution of daily tasks per best practices of data management procedures, data standardization, preparation, quality, data integrity, as well as timely execution to an approved service level agreement per stakeholder’s expectations.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • This position performs duties with high visibility and is responsible for master data management to assure data is accurate with no interruption to business. This will require critical thinking and decision making.

  • This will include tasks such as, but not limited to:

    • maintaining address book, customer master, and vendor master and other related duties

    • maintaining all list pricing and processing weekly/monthly/quarterly price changes, entering deals, repricing and releasing orders, maintaining sample and employee pricing, and other pricing related duties

    • maintaining item master data and providing support with data cleansing activities, as well as other related duties

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, college diploma and/or equivalent experience in Data Management or related area
  • Prior experience in a data management environment
  • Knowledge of Data Systems and industry best practices as it relates to the management of Master Data
  • Excellent computers skills, specifically: Excel, Word and JD Edwards
  • Work well both independently and as part of a larger team
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to understand and set priorities
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a group
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to build strong relationships with others
  • Possess a high attention to detail in a fast paced, high-volume environment
