A leading company in digital learning solutions is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to support their Workforce Experience team. This is a 7 month contract, 100% remote and candidates must be based in Canada. Senior Instructional Designer Responsibilities
Collaborate with subject matter experts to define clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with program goals. Develop engaging and interactive learning content utilizing various authoring tools and adult learning principles. Create assessments and diagnostic strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of learning modules. Visualize instructional graphics, interfaces, and end-to-end learning journeys in partnership with multimedia teams. Maintain detailed project documentation to ensure quality control and version management.
Senior Instructional Designer Qualifications
Candidate must be based in Canada. Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education Technology, or related field. 3+ years of hands-on instructional design experience with a portfolio showcasing diverse learning solutions. More than two years of experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, RISE, Captivate, or Evolve. Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies including ADDIE, SAM, and backward design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone for various stakeholders.
