Title:Warehouse Supervisor

Location:700 Ormont Drive, North York, M9L 2V4 - Onsite

Shift time:8:00am to 4:00pm

Position Status:Perm Full-time

Position Summary

Quantum Lifecycle is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for identifying, reconciling and reporting discrepancies in documentation of all received materials by overseeing the receipt of materials, verifying counts and quality, processing paperwork and completing transactions to receive materials according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under limited supervision to delegate work, provide guidance and assistance to workers in order to meet production goals

  • Act as a communication bridge between the office and the production floor, reporting relevant receiving information from ELP

  • Inspect received shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notify the necessary parties

  • Supervise the receiving of incoming material shipments in accordance with company procedures including primary incoming shipment inspection, documentation and material control

  • Supervise the unloading of various materials or containers from trailers and movement of materials to designated areas

  • Consistently operate in accordance with Company procedures including supervising primary incoming and outgoing shipment inspection, documentation and material control

  • Engage with Logistics to manage dock times, following daily dock schedule; coordinating with lead hand, Logistics and Business Development Team to accommodate customer’s needs and demands and communicate effectively with security team to record trailer and drivers’ details, ensuring that all security measures are adhered to

  • Documentation and tracking:

    • Identify material in accordance with company policy and procedures.
    • Ensure applicable instructions and customer documents are completed as required.
    • Control full lifecycle of necessary training for direct reports.
    • Identify, reconcile, and report discrepancies in documentations.
    • Track inventory and perform cycle counts; Perform all related administrative duties
  • Quality & Environment Responsibilities:

    • Instructs and informs team members of the Quality and Environmental policies, procedures, and objectives to promote an environmentally conscious workplace and ensure the team produces quality work product, carrying out responsibilities in accordance with such policies, procedures, and objectives
    • Reviews and implements the written quality and environmental policies and procedures, making improvements, as necessary.
  • Health & Safety Responsibilities:

    • Instructs and informs team members of the health and safety requirements to promote a safe workplace and ensure the team carries out responsibilities in compliance with the provisions of the governing Occupational Health & Safety legislation and its regulations and wears any required personal protective equipment and clothing
    • Reviews and implements the written occupational health and safety policy and posts a copy of the occupational health & safety policy in the workplace
    • Reviews and follows up on all reported accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions, making improvements, as necessary

Qualifications

  • Forklift Certification
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification
