About The Opportunity We are building a talent pipeline for upcoming Event Coordinator contract roles anticipated to open with our clients. While there is no immediate vacancy at this time, we encourage enthusiastic and qualified candidates to express their interest now to be considered for future contract opportunities. This is a great chance to support event planning and delivery, contribute to corporate initiatives, and engage with stakeholders when positions become available.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events, conferences, and workshops
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, registration, and audiovisual requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and sponsors to ensure seamless execution
- Develop event timelines, budgets, and checklists
- Support marketing and promotion of events, including email communications and social media announcements
- Assist with post-event reporting, analysis, and feedback collection
- Maintain accurate records of event details, participants, and expenses
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post-secondary education in Event Management, Communications, or a related field
- Ideally 2-4 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or project management
- Fluent bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools (e.g., Eventbrite, CRM systems)
About the Job This role would offer between $24.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. The position is primarily in-office, with some flexibility to work from home as needed or as work permits.
