Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Facility Operations Manager, the Property Officer is responsible to ensure effective and efficient asset management, lease management, inventory control, and building security. The Property Officer assists in the maintenance of all capital asset inventory records and preparation of annual inventory audit reports for review by Service Managers. The Property Officer is responsible for coordinating janitorial services for all Dilico sites. The Property Officer will be the central point of contact for and provide support to the District Offices, Auto RD, Richmond RD, Dog Lake RD, Hunter RD, ARTC, Day Treatment and all Agency Staffed Homes and all other Agency locations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum one-year Office Management/General Business Certificate is required. Two-year College Business diploma is preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience in inventory control, database management, and quality purchasing; Minimum two years’ administration experience; sound working knowledge of databases; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Productivity Software
- this position requires efficiency, courtesy and organization at all times;
- must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License and have access to a personal vehicle;
- must provide proof of one-million-dollar liability insurance;
- a criminal records check is required;
- must have a willingness to travel throughout the district.
Hours of Work: 32.5 weekly
