Finning Canada Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: This apprentice role will work on our Power and Energy Field team out of our Red Deer facility.

Location: Red Deer, Alberta

Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Tool allowance Job Description: Basic Functions: Repair machines and perform a variety of service oriented functions Qualifications: Willing to work towards Interprovincial Heavy Duty Certification. Successfully meet Finning’s educational and testing prerequisites. This includes: Completion of grade 12 (not including a general equivalent diploma); Meet the requirements of article 5.02 of the Alberta Collective Agreement Highly motivated and mechanically inclined Strong assets will include: Excellent written and verbal communications skills Previous Caterpillar experience and basic computer skills Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
