The Sessional Instructional Assistant will assist in the delivery of the course HIS103Y1 Y, Strategy and Statecraft. Responsibilities include:
- Leading discussion sections and facilitating student engagement.
- Grading assignments and providing feedback to students.
- Holding office hours to support students.
- Collaborating with the course instructor to ensure course objectives are met.
Required Qualifications
- A strong academic background in History or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms.
- Experience in curriculum development.
Other Relevant Details
- This position is part-time and will require approximately 10 hours per week.
