As a Bone Cutter, you’ll play a vital role in transforming raw materials into high-quality products that meet our exacting standards. Working with precision and skill, you’ll operate specialized equipment to cut various sized bones with speed, accuracy, and a sharp eye for detail—all while ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and food safety compliance. Every cut you make contributes to delivering top-tier products to our customers and upholding our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Precisely cut various sized animal bones using a bandsaw machine
• Check bones to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Operate a walkie pallet truck to move bones between production lines
• Maintain equipment and clean work area by following sanitation processes and procedures
• Follow all Health and Safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Perform other duties/functions assigned or required

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be comfortable working with a variety of raw meat products
• Previous experience as a meat cutter/butcher
• Experience in Food Handling and Processing
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Highly detail oriented with the ability to multitask.

Responsibility for Food Safety and Quality

• Follow GMPs and written procedures
• Responsible for setting up Band Saw to ensure optimal functionality.
• Ensure machine is cleaned following Sanitation procedures
• Maintain equipment and utensils in a tidy matter.
• Responsible for inspections of raw material and reporting any non-conformance to team leader.
• Responsible of labels for bins of bones to keep traceability when cutting raw material.
• Report any issue to the Quality Assurance Manager who will initiate Food Safety Assessment.
• Be aware of unsafe conditions that could potentially affect food safety.
• Ensure that allergens controls in place are respected and if sanitation is required is followed to ensure no cross contamination occurs.
