Based out of our Powell Service Division, the Service Coordinator will be establishing, managing and reviewing the business Field Service schedule for all future and current field service mobilizations within the Division by working collaboratively and transparently with the Field Service Supervisor and Project management team areas. Responsible for optimizing divisional financial performance through ensuring alignment between customer projects and available technical and functional resource capacity.
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for Coordination of any or all of these three functions within Service: The daily coordination of Field Service Technicians, weekly reviews with Field Service supervision and Project Teams, and weekly schedule review of the Service and Automation tasks in the master schedule.
- Coordinate with field service personnel, post sales service team and Project staff to facilitate project execution and warranty resolution requirements for mobilizing technicians to site
- Coordinate with the field service team and Safety/Human resources for site access requirements for the technicians
- Coordinate occasional travel of field resources through the companys approved travel provider
- Supporting the development and maintaining of project schedules in P6
- Supporting the monitoring of project schedules by effectively communicating across various field service, engineering groups and operation departments.
- Supporting the balance of current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing, engineering and procurement capacities (light portion of this role)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 2-4 years of Experience in field service coordination, dispatching, scheduling or operations support in a manufacturing environment in either service, sales, or warranty.
Skills, Abilities & Other Requirements
- Skilled with Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good organization skills
- Must be responsible and dependable.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Skilled with ERP systems such as P6, oracle, etc.
Working Conditions
- Temperature controlled working environment. Some outside activities may be required.
- This position may travel out-of-town to attend training and meetings.
- Typical office environment: may experience minor discomfort from extensive use of a computer display and keyboard; travel between buildings on campus and between campuses.
Physical Requirements
- Maintaining body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs.
- Sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Typing, punching or applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm.
