Primary Focus The Innovation Initiatives team is mandated to stay abreast of new and emerging innovations and shifting priorities in the health care system. The Decision Support Analyst provides necessary decision support intelligence with a critical lens to new and emerging innovations in process optimization. The Decision Support Analyst will adapt to evolving technological advances and translate complex details into accessible information (e.g., integration of process optimization, automation, and artificial intelligence into business processes).
What do the daily responsibilities look like? On any given day, the Decision Support Analyst will:
- support the enhancement and optimization of internal operational processes through collaboration with business leads and applying a LEAN approach for tracking, monitoring, and reporting
- provide decision support to senior leaders by translating detailed information into meaningful and accessible products
- communicate with the IT team to ensure all processes and procedures are being followed when developing innovative tools
- document all information related to the development of tools to ensure accuracy and continuity
- create thoughtful presentations and materials to communicate the organization’s work to internal and external audiences
- create ideas for new innovations for the organization to consider and implement internally
- consolidate data and information to support decision-making, including points of alignment and opportunity, key potential contacts, rationale, and communications.
Is this the right role for you? The Decision Support Analyst will likely have:
- completed postsecondary education in business administration, health management, computer science, or other related discipline, coupled with at least 3 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards based on business needs (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- experience with process optimization and automation
- exceptional communication and relationship management skills
- the ability to translate complex information into concise and accessible insights for leadership
- experience developing and presenting new ideas for consideration
- the ability to review and synthesize data, make objective decisions, and prioritize work requests
- proven ability to connect key internal and external parties to move projects and initiatives forward
- a proactive approach and resourcefulness in finding solutions and adapting to changing priorities
- an aptitude to work in ambiguity.
What will set you apart? The following are considered asset qualifications:
- experience automating decision-making processes in Microsoft applications (e.g., Workflows, Power Automate)
- fluency in French.
